DC Studio started as painting & mural business in 2000.  After working in graphic and online design for seven years I thought it was time for a change of pace.  Actually, the graphics industry decided that for me.  I started out painting nurseries for friends.  A few business cards and a ‘lil “word-o-mouth” quickly made me a busy man.  Interior painting (which I hate) was my bread and butter and became the norm.  Murals were few, so I decided to take a faux finishing class at The Finishing School, in Floral Park NY.  This expanded the services I had to offer and soon I was in full swing.  Within a month or so after the class I stopped “regular” painting and focused on the faux finishing.
